Jesus Christ is the only hope of man in this life and in the life to come. Every other hope will fail. Only the hope built around Jesus Christ that will stand the test of time. Whatever you are chasing after now will one day fail you, but If you anchor your life around Jesus Christ, you will not be disappointed. What are you chasing after? Is it wealth you are chasing after? Is it fame or power? Is it education? Or to leave an inheritance to children and grandchildren? What are you chasing after? All these things will fail, only the hope in Christ that will stand the test of time. The Bible says: "Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasures is, there will your heart be also" Matthew 6:19-21 (KJV).
